The effective distance may vary depending on the position and surrounding interference between the USB dongle and its Remote.

<How to carry the remote>
It is recommended to wear the Screen Keeper on the upper body when the dongle is located on a desk otherwise on the lower body when the dongle is located beneath a desk.

The Screen Keeper's performance may very depending on the surrounding environment and/or the position or distance of the USB dongle.

<Operational reference>
The operational principal of Screen Keeper is measuring the distance between the computer and its user and locking the computer's monitor when the user is out of the computer longer than 5~10cm distance in order to protect the user's privacy and also keep the confidential information on the computer screen safely.

The Remote supports the advanced 'Power Sleep Mode' in order to extend the battery life.

- The Remote will become to the 'Power Sleep Mode' if you are out of computer longer than 1 hour. In that case, you will be required to switch off and on the Remote again to restart the acting of Screen Keeper, after you back to the computer.
- It is recommended you switch off the Remote whenever you don't use the computer or you leave away from the computer longer than one hour in order to perform the longest battery life.
- The Remote is not water resistant so it is required to keep the Remote away from water in order to guarantee its performance.
- Battery life of the Remote is typically 2 years refers to 8 hours operation per working day and power switch off the Remote properly whenever you don't use the computer.
